Open Water

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular way to get seriously into diving. Providing you with the knowledge and skills you'll need to safely visit the underwater world.

The course is divided into three segments: Academic training, Confined- water training and Open water training.
The academic training involves reading the open water text, which is suppied by Mark, and attending classromm sessions, which all go to helping you understand the theory behind diving.
In the confined- water training we go to the swiming pool and learn and practise all the skills that will be needed in the open water.
These segments will be taught to you in five moduals; each modual has both an academic training and a confined- water session.
At the end of each modual their is a knowledge review test which you will go through with instructor Mark, before sitting the final exam which must be past before going on to the open water stage.

The open- water dives allow you to apply what you have learned during the knowledge development and the skills development segments at an actual dive sit.
